In a recent development, Democrat Congressman Jared Moskowitz of Florida has shed light on the controversy surrounding Hunter Biden's appearance before the House Oversight Committee. During the hearing, there was a lively exchange between Moskowitz and Biden. Moskowitz, who serves on the House Oversight and Foreign Affairs committees, was present in the room when the incident occurred.
The issue at hand was Hunter Biden's alleged refusal to comply with a congressional subpoena to be deposed. Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace expressed her frustration, stating, 'You are the epitome of white privilege, coming into the Oversight Committee, spitting in our face, ignoring a congressional subpoena to be deposed. What are you afraid of?' Mace's comments highlighted her stance on preserving Congress' power of subpoena and defending the institution's authority.
