NEW DELHI: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday said the party will give a befitting response to the “continuous attacks” on the mandate and “political fraud” by the BJP in Maharashtra. He also said the party leaders and workers will help the people of the state to get back their government.
Kharge’s comments came at a meeting in the national capital of senior Congress leaders from Maharashtra to discuss the political situation in the wake of the split in the NCP with the party leadership. Former party president Rahul Gandhi was also present at the meeting.
