The BJP will never be able make India Congress-mukt (free of Congress) as it claims, Indian Youth Congress president B. V. Srinivas said on Tuesday. “Till the time the sun and the moon are there, the Congress party will exist,” he said.
Mr. Srinivas said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not know anything else other than telling lies every day.
Speaking at the TNCC headquarters at an event for the new office bearers of the TNCC Youth Congress to take charge, Mr. Srinivas said, “Modi is one Ghajini [like the movie]. He says one thing today and forgets about it the next day”.
TNCC president K.S. Alagiri said the BJP does not have the guts to meet the Congress ideology face to face and instead makes false claims that the party speaks for minorities, only for political benefit.
Congress MP Jothimani said, “the people of Tamil Nadu will never accept the RSS, BJP ideology. The Lotus will never bloom in Tamil Nadu. But all of us have a historic duty to prevent the RSS ideology from entering into even one house in Tamil Nadu”.
Newly appointed Tamil Nadu Youth Congress president Lenin Prasad vowed to work towards strengthening the party in the State. He also took a dig at Tamil Nadu BJP president K. Annamalai. “By the age of 36-37, Annamalai claims he has read 20,000 books. The Prime Minister should invite him to Delhi and give him an award for being the only such magnetic power in India,” he said.
