Lucknow: Ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, the Congress is working on a strategy to rebuild its organisation and a social coalition of Brahmins, Muslims, Dalits and extremely backward classes if the latest organisational reshuffle in the state is any indication.

The Congress on Friday appointed Aradhana Mishra 'Mona' as state president and MP Imran Masood as working president. While Mona is a Brahmin, Masood is a Muslim.
