CHANDIGARH/BATHINDA: Congress on Thursday expelled party leader and former Barnala MLA Kewal Singh Dhillon for his “anti-party” activities. A two-time MLA, Dhillon was unhappy after Congress chose to field Manish Bansal, son of former Union minister Pawan Bansal, from the constituency this time.
A letter issued by Harish Choudhary, party incharge of Punjab affairs, said, “The disciplinary action committee has expelled Kewal Singh Dhillon from the party with immediate effect in view of anti-party activities.”
