A DEBATE on Reform UK's proposal to introduce a ban on face coverings descended into confusion at Holyrood after MSPs rejected an attempt to extend proceedings to allow more members to speak.
With a large number of MSPs wishing to contribute, Deputy Presiding Officer Clare Adamson said she was minded to accept a motion without notice to extend the debate by up to 30 minutes.
