Confirmed West Ham team news vs Sevilla in Europa League as Moyes makes Rice and Areola calls

David Moyes has made two changes from the West Ham side that were unfortunate to lose to Liverpool on the weekend with Declan Rice coming back into the team.

Rice missed out at Anfield due to a virus but the England star has been passed fit to return to the team for the Europa League last-16 clash and comes into captain the side.

With Rice back that means a slight change to Moyes' side with Jarrod Bowen missing out as a result of injury and Manuel Lanzini moving back to his regular No.10 role.

The good news for the Hammers is the return of Rice, however Bowen's absence is a huge disappointment for the England hopeful and his club. Bowen picked up an ankle issue against Liverpool and despite the club believing it is not a serious injury he has not recovered in time for tonight's clash.

At the back Moyes has made a change in goal with regular Premier League stopper Lukasz Fabianski missing out and Europa League goalkeeper Alphonse Areola coming into the side.

The back-four sees no change from the Liverpool clash with Ben Johnson, Kurt Zouma, Craig Dawson and Aaron Cresswell once again named in the starting XI.

Ahead of the defence Rice returns and is joined by Tomas Soucek in central midfield with Manuel Lanzini moving into the No.10 role.

Either side of Lanzini will be Pablo Fornals and Nikola Vlasic, with the trio providing support to Michail Antonio upfront.

Andriy Yarmolenko has once again opted to sit this match out as the situation in Ukraine worsens with the club fully supporting the player's decision at this difficult time for him and his family.

West Ham XI: Areola, Cresswell, Zouma, Dawson, Johnson, Rice, Soucek, Lanzini, Fornals, Bowen, Antonio

Subs: Fabianski, Randolph, Noble, Benrahma, Diop, Fredericks, Masuaku, Kral, Alese, Chesters, Potts, Perkins,
