Television screens around the world have been filled with videos, pictures and touching tales about the ongoing war in Ukraine for over a month - with funding desperately needed to help those suffering in the war-torn state following Russia's invasion.
The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) have in-turn launched the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal in a bid to raise vital funding to assist those affected by the onslaught of violence and destruction across Eastern Europe, with more than three million fleeing their native homes to avoid conflict.
The money raised will help partners in Ukraine and neighbouring countries provide food, water, shelter and medical assistance to those most in need, reports Hull Live. And tonight, to help accelerate funding and generate selfless donations from the general public, a live concert will take place in Birmingham, England.
