Concerns raised over plans to move nuclear submarine reactor from Rosyth to England

A FIFE councillor and anti-nuclear campaigners are demanding answers over plans to remove the most radioactive part of a decommissioned nuclear submarine from Rosyth Dockyard.

Councillor Brian Goodall says Babcock and the Ministry of Defence urgently need to clarify when a reactor pressure vessel, a highly radioactive component from a decommissioned submarine, will be removed from Rosyth.
