Raw sewage has been overflowing into a Huyton park causing residents to hit out at the "health hazard".
Recent rainfall has once again left Jubilee Park with flooding problems prompting fresh concerns from residents. Earlier this year, the ECHO reported the park had turned into "a river" with huge puddles of water building up on the grass.
Resident John Carine hit out at the "raw sewage", and frustrated parents have called for action against the "health hazard".

Margaret Crawley said: "It's like that every time the weather is bad. The surrounding streets (Dinas Lane, Cotsford Road, Huyton House Road) all get flooded to knee height, like the drains back up but the sewage seems to spew on the park.
"It's a health hazard and needs to be addressed ASAP. Kids play there, it's right by the kids' park and the sand pit. And the clearing up, yes that's great picking up the sanitary waste like sanitary towels, tampax, wipes, its all great, but what about the environmental damage, or the germs etc that can still live there for up to 60 days.
"I know there is only so much the council can do, and it's up to North West Water too, but it really does need addressing."
John Carine added: "Every time we get heavy rain we have the same problem. Ever since the new houses were built, the drains don't work. The council spent money resurfacing but it was a waste of money.
"It's a health hazard, it's been going on for at least two years."
Regarding the last complaints, Knowsley Council confirmed the flooding was due to the "significant rainfall". Addressing recent complaints, they said United Utilities were aware of the problems.
A United Utilities spokesperson said: "The recent flooding in Jubilee Park happened during a period of exceptionally heavy rainfall which caused widespread problems and flash flooding in the Mossley Hill and Huyton areas.
"We inspected and cleared the sewers in Jubilee Park in February, as well as clearing tree roots, we also removed several blockages caused by wet wipes and fat, oils and greases which have been poured down the drain. We followed this up with an information campaign to remind people of what not to flush.
"We have also installed monitors in the sewer network which will alert our teams if further build ups develop."
