There is relief after a South Shields man who had been reported missing has been found.
Officers from Northumbria Police launched an investigation into the whereabouts of South Shields man Stephen Frame and appealed to the public for help.
The 32-year-old man was previously last seen near South Tyneside District Hospital at 10.30pm yesterday (Thursday).

Thankfully, Stephen has now been found, Northumbria Police have confirmed.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "We’re delighted to be able to update that missing South Shields man Stephen has been found safe and well."
