Concerns growing for missing Scots man who vanished from Fife town

Cops have launched an urgent search for a Scots man who vanished from Fife yesterday.

Officers say they are concerned for the welfare of Stuart Erskine, 33, who was last seen in the area of Williamsons Quay, Kirkcaldy, at about 5.50pm on Wednesday, January, 18.

Police believe that Stuart has access to a white BMW 220D coupe car with the registration number X666 SAE, and may be traveling in this vehicle.

Stuart is described as a white, 6ft 2ins tall, medium build with brown hair.

No details are available on the clothes he may be wearing but cops say he is likely to be wearing a light-coloured hat.

Sergeant Mark Millar said: “We are working to trace Stuart’s movements and would ask anyone who has seen him, or a man matching his description, to contact officers.

“We’d ask the public to report any sightings of his vehicle, a white BMW with the registration X666 SAE, to us as soon as possible.”

Anyone who may have seen Stuart or his vehicle since yesterday evening, or has information on his current whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 and quote incident number 3461 of 18 January 2023.
