Concerns growing for man with medical moonboot who vanished from Scots hospital

Concern is mounting for the whereabouts of a missing man wearing a medical moonboot who vanished from a Scots hospital.

Staff at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital reported Paul Taylor missing yesterday. The last sighting of the 34-year-old was at 11pm on Wednesday, August 10 on John Street in the Penicuik area of Midlothian.

There are worries for Paul's welfare as he requires regular medication. He is currently left without any supplies.

Paul is described as 5ft 7in, of a slim build, with close-cropped dark hair and with tattoos on his neck. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing an orange and grey t-shirt, orange shorts and a medical moonboot on one leg.

Police say it is possible that he has changed since.

If you have any information or think you may have seen Paul please contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 4229 of 10 August 2022.
