Concerns grow for missing man last seen in work more than 10 days ago

Concerns are growing for a man who has been missing for 17 days.

James Stott has been missing from his home in St Helens. He has not returned home since leaving on September 2.

The 34-year-old was last seen, 11 days ago, at his place of work on September 8. However he hasn't been spotted or spoken to anyone since attending work.

Merseyside police are appealing for help in finding James, who is described as being white, 5ft 10in tall and of medium build, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a sandy coloured hoodie, a grey and blue Jack Jones top , jeans and white trainers. He is known to St Helens and Seacombe areas.

A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "We are appealing for help in finding a 34-year-old man who is missing in St Helens. James Stott left his home address in the St Helens area on 2nd September and failed to return.

"He was last seen at his workplace on 8th September but has not been seen or spoken to since. He is described as a white male, 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with short brown hair.

"When last seen he was wearing a sandy coloured hooded top, a grey and blue Jack and Jones top, jeans and white trainers. He is known to frequent the St Helens and Seacombe areas.

"Anyone who has seen James or knows of his whereabouts is asked to DM @MerPolCC or call 101. Sightings can also be reported via: https://www.merseyside.police.uk/ro/report/mp/v2/report-sighting-of-missing-person-form/"
