Concerns grow for missing man as Tayside Police step up search

Concerns are growing for a man who vanished from his home in Auchterarder.

Tayside Police have stepped up their search for Sandy Riddell who vanished on Monday night.

The 63-year-old was last seen in the town at about 8,30pm.

He is described as 5ft 8inches in height, of medium build with brown eyes, short grey hair and has a scorpion tattoo on his left upper arm.

He is believed to have been wearing a checked shirt, dark jogging bottoms and slippers.

Sandy has connections to the Crieff area and has access to a silver Honda Civic Tourer registration mark OE15 VRJ.

Inspector Nicky Forrester of Perth Police Office said :

“Alexander’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“If you have any information on his whereabouts or have seen him or the vehicle, please contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 2381 of Tuesday, 26 April, 2022.”
