Police launched search after 81-year-old went missing

Police searched for an 81-year-old man after he went missing on on Wednesday afternoon in Taff's Well. Laurence Williams has now been found after a five-hour search.

In a statement after Laurence went missing, South Wales Police said: "Laurence, aged 81, has been reported as missing and was last seen in the Taff's Well area this afternoon at around 12.15pm. He is 5ft 9", and he was last seen wearing a dark blue coat, grey trousers and brown laced shoes. If you have any information on his whereabouts please contact us quoting ref: 2300042487"
