Concern grows for missing Scot who vanished in early hours sparking police search

Police are appealing for help to find a Lanarkshire man who vanished in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Steven Marsh was last seen near Seaforth Place in Bellshill at around 5am on Sunday, October 30.

The 32-year-old has failed to make contact with worried loved ones since and has been reported as missing to Police Scotland.

Officers say he was last seen wearing a black hooded top, black Under Armour tracksuit bottom and black Nike trainers.

Steven is described as being white, around 5ft 9in tall and has short dark hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident reference number 1233 of October 30.

A statement from the force said: “Police Scotland is appealing for help to trace a man who is missing from the Orbiston area of Bellshill.

“Steven, 32, was last seen near to Seaforth Place, at 5am on Sunday 30 October 2022.

“Steven is described as 5 foot 9 in height, with short dark hair and was last seen wearing a black hooded top, black under armour tracksuit bottoms and black Nike trainers.

“Anyone with information which could assist police in tracing Steven is requested to Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1233 of 30th October 2022.”
