Mum and two young children found safe after going missing from Cardiff for nearly two weeks

A Cardiff mum and her two young children have been found safe after going missing for 12 days.

Andrea Ocon, 30, was reported as missing from Ely, Cardiff having last been seen on Thursday, January 5. Her two children, seven-year-old Matteo and three-year-old Paolo had also not been seen since this date.

South Wales Police had said there was concern for the family's welfare as they appealed for information from the public to help locate them. Get the latest news from across Cardiff sent to your inbox by signing up to our free newsletter.

However, police have now confirmed that Andrea and her children have been found safe and well. In a post on social media, the force said: "Thank you for your messages and shares. They really do make a difference."
