Concern for loss of green belt land over plans for 300 new homes in Nottinghamshire

Nottinghamshire residents have shared their concern over the potential for loss of wildlife with proposed plans for 300 new homes on agricultural land. An outline planning application has been put forward for 300 new homes on land at the junction of Newark Road and Coxmoor Road, Sutton In Ashfield.

The plans also include, open space, drainage and green infrastructure and details of the proposed access. The access is planned to be off Newark Road.

Neighbours to the land, on Searby Road, say they ‘are not happy’ about the proposals and worry about the wildlife. Resident Christina Ainscough, told Nottinghamshire Live there’s a variety of animals that live on the land.
