Police Scotland are appealing for information from the public after a 9-year-old boy was reported missing in East Lothian.
Austin McGovern from Dunbar was last seen at around 7:05pm on Friday, September 9, near Rowan Street but has not been seen since and it is understood that there is concern for his well-being.
Officers said that Austin is around 4ft4, with a white stock build and light brown hair. It is believed was wearing a red T-shirt and black trousers when he was last seen.

A statement from Police Scotland on Facebook read: “We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace a boy reported missing in Dunbar.
“Austin was last seen near Rowan Street, Dunbar around 7.05 pm on Friday 9th September.
“The 9 year-old, who lives in Dunbar, has not been seen since and there are growing concerns for his welfare.
“Austin is described as 4ft4, white, stocky build, light brown hair, wearing a red T–shirt and black trousers.
“Anyone who may have seen Austin since this time, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 4077 of the 9th September.”
