A senior customs official spun a complicated web to conceal her taking of bribes to help shepherd cocaine into Australia, prosecutors allege.

Border Force supervisor Rita Gargiulo was arrested in March over claims she conspired with alleged crime figure Cosmo Commisso to smuggle 6.9kg of cocaine into the country undetected.
