Comparing The Net Worth's Of Tyson Fury & Oleksandr Usyk

The Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk rematch has been and gone, with both heavyweight icons earned over £100 million each for their two fights combined. Having ended their rivalry now with Usyk winning both fights, here at SportsCasting we decided to analyse and compare both of their net worth’s.

Comparing The Net Worth’s Of Tyson Fury & Oleksandr Usyk

Oleksandr Usyk is the single best heavyweight on the planet. It’s fair to say that Tyson Fury is a close second, with the likes of Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua behind them. Not only are Usyk and Fury the two best heavyweight boxers in the world, but they are both extremely wealthy men too.

When comparing both fighters resumés and boxing careers, another interesting comparison you can draw is comparing their net worth’s and career earnings. Here at SportsCasting, we have done exactly that.

We will give a detailed explanation of both Fury and Usyk’s net worth and earnings in this article. But straight off the bat, it seems that Tyson Fury’s net worth is around £85 million greater than his Ukrainian counterpart.

Although Usyk won the first fight against Fury and goes into the rematch as the favourite with the best boxing betting sites in the UK, he is still deemed the B-side when it comes to value. ‘The Gypsy King’ is regarded as the A-side with his starmanship, popularity and career earnings.

Even just comparing Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk’s last 10 fight purses tells you all you need to know about who has the higher estimated net worth.

Tyson Fury Net Worth

Tyson Fury is said to have an estimated net worth of around £130 million. According to Manchester Evening News, Fury’s colossal net worth is mainly down to his career earnings from boxing.

His earnings from boxing play a major part in Fury’s net worth, but that isn’t the only major player helping enhance his net worth and career earnings.

The 36-year-old has an impressive car collection. In his collection, we can see cars such as a Metallic Hummer H2 that’s worth around $70,000, a Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Range Rover, a Rolls Royce Cullinan, a Ferrari Portofino and Rolls Royce Phantom.

Furthermore, one of his most expensive purchases is the Morecambe house that is estimated to cost around £550,000. Not only that, but Fury’s net worth is also heavily enhanced by his endorsements and business ventures outside of the ring.

Fury is sponsored by Italian tailors Claudio Luigi, who design his bespoke suits. He is also sponsored by the likes of Wow Hydrate, Marbella Lund Group, Goldstar and Youngla. Not to mention being one of the leading figures of Riyadh Season, thanks to His Excellency Turki Alalshikh and his involvement in boxing now.

Of course, he also makes a fortune from his energy drink brand – Furocity Energy. Not to mention his ‘Gypsy King’ merchandise which seems to do a huge number of sales. All in all, Forbes reported that Fury earned a reported £6.5 million through endorsements alone in 2022.

All of these assets and endorsements factor into the Tyson Fury net worth, which is why it is so high.

Oleksandr Usyk Net Worth

According to talkSPORT, Oleksandr Usyk’s net worth is said to be around £45 million. The Ukrainian heavyweight boxer has seen a huge rise in his net worth over the past couple of years, mainly due to his two fights with Anthony Joshua and of course the first Fury fight.

Usyk beat ‘AJ’ for the first time in September 2021 as the underdog with the best UK betting sites, before beating the Brit again in the rematch. He then successfully defended his unified heavyweight world title belts against Daniel Dubois before beating Fury in their undisputed clash in May 2024 and then again in the rematch seven months later.

Prior to his first fight with Joshua, Oleksandr Usyk‘s net worth was estimated to be around £10 million or so. However, after winning the first fight and securing a huge pay-day in the rematch in Saudi Arabia, as well as his fights with Daniel Dubois and most recently Fury, that figure is said to have shot up to around £45 million as of today.

Some of Usyk’s sponsors will also help enhance his net worth. He is said to have sponsorship deals with the likes of Boxraw, Jaxet, Lomus, Rival and WePlay Esports. It is unknown exactly how much these endorsements earn Usyk each year, but do not be surprised if it is over £1 million.

Oleksandr Usyk’s net worth seems solely down to boxing. He doesn’t seem like the type of man who buys expensive assets such as cars, watches or houses. That being said, why should he? He has made millions from his boxing career and will continue to do so going forward.

Tyson Fury Career Earnings

Throughout his boxing career, Tyson Fury has earned an absolute fortune. His first world title triumph against Wladimir Klitschko reportedly earned him around £6m, with his three bouts with Wilder earning him a combined £50 million.

That’s not to mention his purse of £21 million for the Derek Chisora trilogy, £29.3m for his bout in 2022 at Wembley Stadium with Dillian Whyte, as well as a £40 million purse against Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia back in October 2023. Fury has earned millions upon millions during his boxing career, and it doesn’t look like that will be stopping anytime soon.

The first fight with Usyk saw Tyson Fury’s biggest purse to date. Despite losing the fight, ‘The Gypsy King’ reportedly earned a career-high payday of £85 million. This is £55m more than what Usyk earned, despite the Ukrainian being the one who had his hand raised in victory.

In the Usyk rematch Fury also pocketed an eight-figure purse. As the B-side this time, ‘The Gypsy King’ took home a 45% split of the prize money, which equated to a £67.5 million purse all told.

The Englishman has reportedly earned over £320 million in his boxing career to date. He has had 37 fights as a professional boxer, winning 34 of them, losing two and drawing one. Since returning to action back in 2018 after a three year hiatus from the sport, Fury’s career earnings have catapulted massively.

Fair play to him. He is a marketable character and knows how to promote himself. He resonates with the everyday person, despite being an incredibly wealthy man. Do not be surprised to see Tyson Fury make another £100 million or so before he calls it a day once and for all.
