CX Tech Limited has submitted an application for Planning Permission in Principle (PPiP) for the proposed CX Technology Campus at the former Chapelcross nuclear power station site near Annan, Dumfries and Galloway..

THE company behind Scotland’s biggest data centre proposal – and one of the largest in the world – is owned by the treasurer of the UK Conservative party via a Caribbean tax haven, The Ferret can reveal.

CX Tech Limited has lodged plans for a 1000 megawatt (MW) data centre at the site of the former Chapelcross nuclear plant in Dumfriesshire, which could benefit from up to £23 million in taxpayer support.
