The King Power Stadium has won the race to host this year’s Community Shield between Liverpool and Manchester City on July 30.
The London Stadium, which usually plays host to West Ham, had also been keen to stage the game, which cannot take place at Wembley this year due to it clashing with the final weekend of the Women’s Euros.
