Tributes continue to be paid to a beloved Waterford mother who died during a medical procedure in Turkey two weeks ago.
Carol Sheehan’s tragic death has left her community in shock, as friends remember a woman “who had a smile and a chat for everyone”.
The mother of two boys died in Turkey on April 30 before her remains were returned back home earlier this month following assistance from the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. It is believed that she died during the procedure.

A funeral service for Ms Sheehan was held in the Island Crematorium on Monday.
She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth and is survived by her two sons, parents, three sisters and brother.
Two weeks on from her death, tributes continue to be paid to the popular mother.
Posting on RIP.ie, many said they were “shocked” and “heartbroken” at the “devastating news” as they passed on their condolences to Ms Sheehan’s family.
One person posted: “Deepest Sympathy to Carol's boys and her family on this sad occasion. I will remember Carol as a person full of laughter and a smiling face whenever you would meet her. Gone too soon .xx rest in peace my friend . Forever young xx”
Another wrote: “Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. Carol lived life to the full always had a smile and a chat for everyone gone far too soon rip Carol.”
Someone else said: “Shocked and saddened to read this: we remember young Carol's smiling face from our walksover the years. Sincere condolences to all of her family.”
The family have asked for family flowers only and donations, if desired, to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust fund which can be done here.
