Finnie the mascot helped launch the Commonwealth Mile (PA) -

A Commonwealth Mile installation inviting people to cover the distance on the banks of the River Clyde has been launched to mark a week until Glasgow 2026.

The route has been created to mark the return of the one mile athletics event to the Commonwealth Games this year for the first time in 60 years.
