A Commonwealth Games cycling event has been abandoned after rider Matt Walls was involved in a horror crash.
The Team England rider went over the barrier and into the crowd during the men's 15km scratch race qualifying. A fan was left covered in blood and had to be taken away in a wheelchair.
The remainder of the session was abandoned, with Matt Bostock taken away on a stretcher and Walls seen wearing an oxygen mask as he prepared to leave in an ambulance, reports the Mirror.
