The Washington Commanders released their official inactive list for the season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and it contained some good news.
Starting tight end Logan Thomas is active for Week 1. Thomas, who suffered a torn ACL last December, was listed as questionable for Week 1 but everything was trending in a positive direction for the veteran tight end.

That’s great news for quarterback Carson Wentz.
As for Washington’s inactive list, here are the five players who are out for Sunday’s game:
- QB Sam Howell
- G Chris Paul
- S Kamren Curl
- CB Tariq Castro-Fields
- TE Cole Turner
Curl is out for the game after undergoing thumb surgery recently. Turner has battled a hamstring injury for over a month, but with Thomas and John Bates back, and Armani Rogers active, the Commanders are in good shape at tight end.
