The final injury report is in for Sunday’s Week 7 game between the Washington Commanders and New York Giants. It’s positive for the Commanders, who had 10 players listed on Wednesday’s injury report, but no one will miss Sunday’s game.
Cornerback Kendall Fuller, who did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday, practiced in a limited capacity on Friday. Fuller told reporters Thursday he was playing on Sunday.
New York’s injury report was even longer, with 15 players listed, including left tackle Andrew Thomas, quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley. Only three players are ruled out for Sunday’s game, but unfortunately, Thomas is one of those players for the Giants. He hasn’t played since Week 1.
Jones was listed as questionable on the injury report, as he still hasn’t been cleared for contact. Head coach Brian Daboll didn’t rule him out, but it appears to be some gamesmanship from the Giants because Jones plays so well against the Commanders.
If Jones doesn’t play, veteran Tyrod Taylor will make his second consecutive start.
The Giants will also be without rookie center John Michael Schmitz and backup offensive lineman Matt Peart. Barkley will play on Sunday.
