Washington’s abbreviated week of practice is over as the Commanders traveled to Dallas for their Week 12 Thanksgiving Day showdown with the Cowboys.
Washington looks to rebound from last week’s ugly loss to the New York Giants, while Dallas hopes to remain undefeated at AT&T Stadium.
Each team released its final injury reports on Wednesday, and the Commanders will be without three players, including rookie cornerback Emmanuel Forbes.
Forbes injured his elbow in Sunday’s game, and while he did return, the short week likely impacted his availability to play on Thanksgiving.
Washington will also be without defensive end James Smith-Williams. Smith-Williams injured his hamstring in the loss to the Seahawks in Week 10. Fullback Alex Armah will also miss Thursday’s game at Dallas with a hamstring injury.
The Cowboys received much better injury news, with all but two players on Tuesday’s injury report returning to practice Wednesday. Safety Jayron Kearse is doubtful, and running back Rico Dowdle is questionable.
