Comedian Kate McKinnon to release wonderfully weird book for young readers

Kate McKinnon

In the world of literature, there is always room for something wonderfully weird. And that's exactly what fans of Kate McKinnon can expect from her upcoming book. McKinnon, known for her comedic talent and memorable performances on Saturday Night Live, is set to release her first book, 'The Millicent Quibb School of Etiquette for Young Ladies of Mad Science.' Published by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, this book is the first in a series targeting readers aged 8-12.

Inspired by her own childhood experiences, McKinnon takes readers on a quirky adventure in the town of Antiquarium. This town adheres strictly to etiquette and has a peculiar rule that only bichon frisés are allowed as pets. Meet the Porch sisters - Gertrude, Eugenia, and Dee-Dee. These outcasts find themselves expelled from the traditional etiquette school in their town due to their rebellious behavior. But their lives take an unexpected turn when they come under the tutelage of the unconventional Millicent Quibb.
