Arsenal fans have reacted as Portugal superstar Joao Felix scored a crucial goal to put his nation 2-1 up against Ghana.

Earlier this year football.london reported that the Gunners were interested in signing the Portugal international, with Mikel Arteta eager to bolster his frontline. Arsenal went on to sign Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City instead but the 23-year-old continues to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Joe Cole and Graeme Souness both believe more attack-minded teams would suit Felix's qualities much more than Atletico Madrid. The Portugal international signed for Atletico at just 18 years old as one of the hottest talents in Europe, but has struggled to kick on as well as many expected since joining Diego Simeone's side.
