The Indianapolis Colts are going to be without Josh Downs for their Week 13 matchup with New England, but they are “expected” to have Alec Pierce, according to ESPN’s Stephen Holder.

Pierce was listed on Friday’s final injury report as questionable with a foot injury. He did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday but was a full participant on Friday.
Although he was questionable, the expectation seemed to be that he was going to be on the field Sunday. Earlier in the week, head coach Shane Steichen told reporters that he believed Pierce would be good to go for this game.
Pierce has obviously been a key contributor for the Colts this season and that presence will very much be needed without Downs in the mix.
This season, Pierce has been one of the most productive downfield targets in football this season. Entering Week 13, Pierce ranks third in receptions of 20-plus yards and is second in receiving yards on those downfield throws.
Overall, he leads the team in receiving yards with 623 and is averaging an impressive 23.3 yards per catch, which ranks first among all receivers this season.
