The Indianapolis Colts have clawed their way back to a 2-2 record following an 0-2 start to the season. Next up on the schedule is a matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jaguars are the only winless team left in football at 0-4 and, obviously, in desperate need of a win. Jacksonville, however, has not been kind to the Colts for nearly a decade now, with Indianapolis 0-9 over their last nine visits.
Currently, as of Wednesday morning, BetMGM has the Colts as the early favorites in this matchup, favored by three points. The over/under is set at 46 points and the Colts’ money line is at +125.
The big story line for the Colts heading into this matchup will be around the availability of Jonathan Taylor (ankle) and Anthony Richardson (hip). Both players exited Sunday’s win against the Steelers with injuries.
Based on reports, both Taylor and Richardson avoided major injuries, but as of now, their statuses for the upcoming game with the Jaguars is unknown.
Indianapolis is also dealing with injuries on the defensive side of the ball, with Tyquan Lewis being placed on injured reserve on Tuesday, along with Kwity Paye and Kenny Moore both having missed the most recent game.
The depth on that side of the ball is being put to the test with DeForest Buckner, Samson Ebukam, and JuJu Brents also on injured reserve.
