The end of the third quarter of Sunday’s Colts vs. Titans game showcased some of the most chaotic plays in all of the NFL in the early slot of games.
The Titans quickly went three-and-out and attempted to punt the ball away with 19 seconds of the third quarter left. But, Colts safety Nick Cross and tight end Mo Alie-Cox blocked the punt attempt. Then the ball was recovered by Indianapolis linebacker Grant Stuard, who ran the ball to the end zone for an 18-yard touchdown.
This quickly put the Colts on top with a 22–17 lead.
