The Indianapolis Colts (3-2) released their unofficial depth chart Tuesday ahead of the Week 6 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2).
The term “unofficial” should be taken to heart here as the pecking order could change on a whim. Still, we’re here to take a look at the depth chart going into the divisional matchup against the Texans.
Here’s a look at the unofficial Week 6 depth chart for the Colts:
Offense
Notes
- Roster changes: The Colts placed QB Anthony Richardson (shoulder) on IR and signed G Ike Boettger from the practice squad.
- With Richardson out for at least the next four games, Gardner Minshew becomes the starter and Sam Ehlinger slots in as the backup.
- RB Jonathan Taylor is listed as the starter for the first time since being activated from the PUP list last week. He’s still easing into action, and Zack Moss will continue to work as the starter in the meantime.
- Despite being listed as the starter, TE Mo Alie-Cox has seemingly ceded the role to second-year player Drew Ogletree.
Defense
Notes
- Roster changes: None from the previous week.
- DE Dayo Odeyingbo got the start in lieu of Kwity Paye (concussion) in Week 5 while Tyquan Lewis had a team-high seven pressures.
- With Shaquille Leonard (groin) inactive in Week 5, E.J. Speed played nearly every snap on defense.
- In the first game without CB Dallis Flowers, rookie Jaylon Jones was the clear-cut No. 3 cornerback behind Julius Brents and Kenny Moore II.
Special Teams
Notes
- Roster changes: None from the previous week.
- Isaiah McKenzie served as both the kick and punt returner with Dallis Flowers out for the season.
