Indianapolis Colts left guard Quenton Nelson was named to his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl for the 2021 season but won’t participate due to an injury.
It isn’t clear what injury that is, but he will be replaced by Tennessee Titans guard Roger Saffold. The announcement from the Titans official website was the first to claim that Nelson wouldn’t be participating due to injury.
Nelson still gets credit for the Pro Bowl nod on his record but won’t be playing in the NFL’s All-Star game on Feb. 6 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Hopefully, we will get some kind of update on the extent of Nelson’s injury. It could simply be a precaution but it’s always wise to wait until it’s official when it comes to injury news.
