Colts QB Anthony Richardson Leaves Game With Injury After Taking Big Hit

Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Titans with a shoulder injury. It’s unclear what the injury is at this time.

During the second quarter against Tennessee, Richardson took the ball during a designed quarterback run to his right. Titans outside linebacker Harold Landry III tackled him from behind and fell on top of Richardson, who fell on his shoulder. Immediately after the hit, the Indianapolis signal-caller gestured to his right shoulder and trainers sprinted onto the field.

Richardson left the game to go back into the locker room and could be seen in significant pain before he was ruled out.

Richardson, the No. 4 pick in April’s NFL draft out of Florida, is no stranger to injuries during this young season. He suffered a concussion in Week 2 and missed one game as a result. It remains to be seen if this latest injury will cause him to miss significant time.
