Colts news: What else happened in the AFC South in Week 7?

The Indianapolis Colts secured their second straight win to improve to 4-3 on the season. But what else happened across the AFC South in Week 7?

The Houston Texans would fall on the road to the Green Bay Packers following a field goal by kicker Brandon McManus as time expired.

It was tough sledding for the Texans passing game in this contest, with CJ Stroud finishing 10-for-21 passing for 86 yards. However, the combination of Joe Mixon and three takeaways gave Houston a late one-point lead following a field goal.

But with 1:44 left on the clock, Jordan Love and the Packers offense put together an eight-play drive that put them in field goal range for the eventual game-winner.

With Mason Rudolph starting at quarterback for Tennessee, the Titans were blown-out by Buffalo, losing 34-10.

As has been the case, moving the ball didn’t come easy for the Titans’ offense, who averaged just 3.7 yards per rush and 5.4 yards per pass. Josh Allen, meanwhile, threw for 323 yards on a stingy Titans’ pass defense, with two touchdowns and no interceptions.

Lastly, the Jacksonville Jaguars were once again playing in London, this time against New England. Following a 22 point second quarter, the Jaguars would cruise to a relatively easy 32-16 win.

Trevor Lawrence was 15-of-20 passing for 193 yards while running back Tank Bigsby had another big day with 118 rushing yards. Rookie receiver Brian Thomas Jr. also averaged 17.8 yards per catch.

At 4-3, the Colts now find themselves just one game back of the AFC South lead, trailing the 5-2 Texans. The Jaguars are 2-5 and the Titans 1-5.

In Week 8, the Colts travel to Houston to face the Texans, while the Jaguars are at home to face the Packers and Tennessee is at Detroit.
