The Indianapolis Colts were on their bye week, but what else happened in the AFC South in Week 14?
Jacksonville was on the road against Tennessee and trailed for much of the game. A first-quarter field goal from the Titans and a third-quarter field goal gave them a 6-0 lead entering the fourth.
The Jaguars, however, would go on to put up 10 points in that quarter, scoring a field goal and then a touchdown on an eight-yard Tank Bigsby run on back-to-back possessions.
Tennessee had a chance late to take the lead. Facing a 4th-and-3 from the Jaguars nine-yard line, Will Levis missed Nick Westbrook-Ikhine with 1:22 left in the game.
Following a quick three-and-out, the Titans would get the ball back with 22 seconds remaining, but four straight downfield throws would fall incomplete, giving Jacksonville the 10-6 win.
Without Trevor Lawrence in this game, Mac Jones got the start and was 23-of-31 passing for 220 yards with two interceptions. Bigsby led the way on the ground with 55 yards and Brian Thomas Jr. was the team’s leading receiver with 86 yards.
Levis was 19-of-32 through the air for 168 yards. Tony Pollard generated 102 yards as a ball carrier with Calvin Ridley totaling 59 receiving yards.
In addition to the Colts being on their bye week, so were the Houston Texans.
Indianapolis will travel to Denver in Week 15 for what is essentially a must win game to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Jaguars are at home to face the Jets, the Titans will take on the Bengals at home, and the Texans are home vs. Miami.
