In addition to those two roster moves, the Colts released defensive tackle McTelvin Agim and cornerback Ameer Speed from the practice squad.
Speed was a core special teams player for the Colts during the second half of last season. Agim, spent time with the Colts in 2023 before Houston signed him to the practice squad in January ahead of their playoff matchup with Baltimore. Agim then spent training camp with the Texans before being released and signed to the Colts’ practice squad.
With three practice squad openings, the team signed defensive tackle Adam Gotsis, cornerback Gregory Junior, and defensive end Titus Leo, who they released last week.
Gotsis is an experienced NFL player, having appeared in 121 career games, including 54 starts, since entering the league in 2016 as a second-round pick. He most recently spent four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, which included playing 427 snaps in 2023, totaling 20 pressures and 25 tackles.
Junior, meanwhile, was a sixth-round pick by Jacksonville in 2022. He’s played in 10 games during his first two NFL seasons, with 112 snaps coming on defense and 110 on special teams, including 105 last season. Defensively, Junior has lined up both in the slot and on the boundary.
Lastly, Leo is a familiar face as a sixth-round pick by the Colts in 2023. His rookie season ended in August because of a season-ending injury last year. Leo spent the 2024 training camp with the Colts and was released on cutdown day before being signed to the practice squad.
The Colts 53-man roster and practice squad are now at full capacity following these moves.
