Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs suffered a knee injury against the Carolina Panthers and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Downs was questionable entering the weekend after picking up a knee injury during Thursday’s practice. He was considered a game-time decision but apparently felt comfortable enough to play following a pregame workout.
However, Downs left the game during the first half and when the team came back out for the second half, he was ruled out. It isn’t clear how serious the injury is.

With Downs unable to return, the Colts will lean on Michael Pittman Jr. and Alec Pierce while Isaiah McKenzie and Juwann Winfree will likely get more snaps.
