Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is not expected to be traded and will remain on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, per multiple reports.
Though there were multiple teams interested in trading for Taylor, a deal did not come to fruition. However, because Taylor remains on the PUP list, he is now forced to miss the first four games of the regular season.

While a trade could still happen before the deadline at the end of October, Taylor will not be permitted to practice or play until Week 5 at the earliest. Whether this still stems from a trade demand or the ankle injury isn’t clear.
If Taylor truly is still on the mend from his ankle injury, which he underwent a procedure to clean up in January, that would be an even bigger issue for his chances to be traded.
This still remains a situation worth monitoring, especially once the first month of the season comes to a close.
