The Indianapolis Colts are in Philadelphia for a joint practice and their final preseason game, but all eyes will be on Jonathan Taylor.
The star running back has been granted permission to seek a trade amid owner Jim Irsay making it clear that he wouldn’t be given a contract extension.
Jonathan Taylor’s agent Malki Kawa has begun the process of calling teams. It won’t be cheap, but there is interest. https://t.co/8CyUOUNxq5

The former Wisconsin Badger and New Jersey native has been a star since entering the NFL.
In 2021, Taylor led the league with 1,811 rushing yards, 18 rushing touchdowns, 2,171 yards from scrimmage, and 20 total touchdowns — finishing second in AP offensive player of the Year voting.
Last year, the production dropped significantly, as Taylor rushed for 861 yards with four touchdowns and caught 28 passes for 143 yards in 11 games.
Philadelphia prefers a running back by committee and has already spent assets to acquire D’Andre Swift on the draft’s final day.
