Indianapolis Colts cornerback Chris Lammons has been suspended for the first three games of the 2023 regular season after violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy, the league announced Friday.
Lammons, who was signed by the Colts during the first week of training camp, is being suspended for his involvement in a February 2022 incident at a Las Vegas establishment.
It is the same incident involving New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara, who also was suspended three games.

According to NFL rules, Lammons is allowed to participate in the preseason but must go on the suspended list until Week 4 of the regular season. He will be eligible to return to the active roster following the first three games.
The Colts have already had plenty of issues with suspended players this offseason after they released cornerback Isaiah Rodgers Sr. following his violations of the league’s gambling policy.
