The Indianapolis Colts announced on Thursday that they made four more additions to their practice squad, signing defensive tackle McTelvin Agim, defensive end Titus Leo, tight end Sean McKeon, and guard Atonio Mafi.
Agim made the Colts’ initial 53-man roster in 2023 before being released and then signed to the practice squad. He appeared in the team’s Week 8 matchup against the Saints.
In January, Agim was signed to the Houston Texans practice squad and spent the offseason on their roster before being released during cutdowns.
Leo, was apart of the Colts’ training camp roster this summer. He was a sixth-round selection by Indianapolis in 2023 and unfortunately missed his rookie season after ending up on season-ending injured reserve.
This preseason, he played in the first game, totaling 34 snaps on defense and four on special teams, along with four tackles.
McKeon and Mafi are outside additions to the Colts’ practice squad. McKeon was most recently with the Detroit Lions for training camp and the preseason.
Before that, he played 524 special teams snaps over four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. On offense in his career, he has six receptions on 10 targets for 38 yards and a touchdown. The bulk of his snaps have come as a blocker.
Lastly, Mafi was a fifth-round pick by New England in 2023 out of UCLA. He had a big role as a rookie, playing 458 snaps over 12 games, allowing 32 pressures and five sacks, according to PFF.
With these additions, the Colts now have 16 players on the practice squad, which could be maximum capacity depending on whether Marcel Dabo is playing on the International Pathway Player exemption again. If he is, the Colts have room for one more addition.
