Colorado football coach Deion Sanders has endured a mass exodus of players into the transfer portal as he overhauls the Buffaloes roster, but he just added a key piece from an SEC power.
Jahquez Robinson, a defensive back who spent the past three seasons at Alabama, has committed to play for Colorado in 2023, he announced on social media. Last year, Robinson played in six games for the Crimson Tide.
Robinson is a former four-star recruit who committed to Alabama out of high school in 2020. However, he failed to gain much traction with the Crimson Tide, primarily playing special teams while occasionally filling in at cornerback.

Since Sanders took over as Colorado’s head coach, the program has seen 43 players enter the transfer portal. Last week alone, 23 players entered the portal, including 15 in one day.
That opens up a bunch of roster spots ahead of the season, so Robinson likely will be able to find a role in Colorado.
