Anyone who passed through parts of Denver International Airport on Oct. 3, 4, or 5, or visited an Arvada urgent care clinic on Oct. 7, should watch for measles symptoms through late October after Colorado confirmed a new case in a Jefferson County adult. The case, announced Oct. 15 by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and Jefferson County Public Health, is the state's 26th of 2026.
The adult's vaccination status is unknown. Officials said the person was likely exposed while traveling outside Colorado, though the source remains under investigation.
