Motorists on the Edinburgh bypass are facing delays to travel following a collision near a major junction.
The A720 near Sheriffhall is currently blocked due to a crash, with one lane temporarily out of action. Images from the scene show huge tailbacks starting to form as far as Millerhill.
Traffic Scotland has warned motorists in the area, urging them to approach with caution. They said: "A720 Sheriffhall Lane one of the Westbound carriageway is currently closed due to a collision. Please #TakeCare on the approach."

A live traffic camera image closer to the scene shows incident support at the scene, with cars able to pass using the right-hand lane. It is currently unclear how many vehicles were involved or if there have been any reported injuries.
Traffic is queued back to the slip-road at Millerhill with motorists travelling westbound expected to see delays until the vehicles involved have been cleared.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.45pm we received a report of a crash involving a vehicle and motorbike on the A720 Sheriffhall."
