Tasmania's footy DNA will prove a massive lever in attracting talent to the fledgling club, according to an AFL premiership-winning recruiting guru who has joined the Devils.

Derek Hine, regarded as one of the most accomplished recruitment managers, was on Monday announced as Tasmania's inaugural head of recruiting.
